Running Together: Sovereign Realty & Management Celebrates Community at the East Lake 5K & Fun Run

We’re still excited about this year’s Run for East Lake Foundation 5K & Fun Run! On a warm Saturday in early August, we came together for a fantastic morning of running, laughter, and connection, supporting a wonderful cause. It was our second year sponsoring this event, and we couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of it. We were joined by East Lake Family YMCA, Charles R. Drew Charter School, and many others who did a phenomenal job bringing the event to life.
A Morning to Remember
The race started at 8:00 a.m. and finished at 10:00 a.m. at Charles R. Drew Charter School. The route took participants on a scenic journey through the community, showcasing the beauty of the Villages of East Lake, Charlie Yates Golf Course, and even a rare opportunity to run through the back nine holes of the historic East Lake Golf Club. It was incredible to witness so many runners, from seasoned athletes to first-time racers, come together to support the foundation and celebrate the spirit of the community.
The Fun Run, a 400-meter dash on Drew Charter’s track, brought together runners of all ages – from toddlers to grandparents – reminding us of the pure joy and energy this event fosters.
